susie.jpgSusan has a Masters in Social Work and a Master of Arts in Psychological Counseling plus 30 years experience in hospital and hospice social work. She has seen the good, the bad, the ugly – and the beautiful  – of hundreds end of life experiences.  Susie wants all people to have beautiful end of life experiences and knows it begins with a process of self-evaluation and communicating one’s wishes.

Susie was Certified in Thanatology (the study of death and dying) in 2003 by the Association of Death Education and Counseling.In 2005 Susie received Certification as a Facilitator and Trainer with the Respecting Choices® Advance Care Planning program at the Gunderson Lutheran Medical Foundation in LaCrosse, Wisconsin.Susie has served on the Board of Directors of the Missouri End of Life Coalition and the St Louis Regional Chapter, the Gateway Alliance for Compassionate Healthcare at End of Life.
