Sheila has practiced nursing for over 30 years and has worked in numerous  areas including neonatal,  pediatrics , psychiatric, adult, and occupational health nursing,  focusing for the  past 10 years  in hospice and geriatric nursing.

Sheila instructs physicians,  medical  social workers, nurses, CNA’s, CMT’s, chaplains, and other members of the community.  She is a passionate speaker educating others on her firm belief that compassionate care and pain management are the keys to optimizing a persons quality of life and  maintaining their dignity at the end of life.
