About Diane Keefe
By: Diane Keefe, Geriatric Care Manager
Diane Keefe is a professional Geriatric Care Manager who has a breadth of experience working with all kinds of different situations with older adults.
This website was designed out of a desire to help aging adults and their caregivers through providing education and sharing experiences. Ms. Keefe had a mother who had Alzheimer’s disease. She and her brother experienced
what many families do when they have a family member with this debilitating disease. They were unprepared for the challenges ahead. After their mother passed, Ms. Keefe pursued a Master in Gerontology and opened a practice to help older adults. She received her Care Manager Certified designation in 2009. She also served as a hospice volunteer for Heartland Hospice.
Ms. Keefe is President of the Mid-East Area Agency on Aging Foundation. She speaks about dementia issues for the Alzheimer’s Association and is a member of Breakthrough Coalition, a consortium of over 350+ agencies dealing with older adults in the St. Louis area. She is also a member of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers.
