Are You Ready to Look At Aging Differently?

David Green talks with us about attitudes toward aging and thoughts on how we might perceive it differently.  He will share his experience working with the Chinese to develop a system to help them support their elders.David Green has been involved in senior housing most of his career as CEO for Evergreen Retirement Community in Oshkosh, WI, a United Methodist related continuing care retirement community.  He is currently an executive in residence at the Business Success Center of the University of Wisconsin at Oshkosh.  His primary focus is organizational governance and designing long-term care environments.

David was asked to assist with the development of skilled nursing facilities in China.  He is now Director of Conceptual Planning and Development for China Senior Care, an investor owned company based in Hangzhou, China.

In January, 2011, Dr. Green was selected by Long-Term Living magazine as one of the LTCs 10 most influential people for his leadership in developing the household/neighborhood concept including flattening the organization to provide more front-line staff autonomy.  He facilitates 3 day governance workshops in Canada, Ohio, Tennessee and Wisconsin.
